The Gay Taliban sent me some pics from the handbuilt bicycle show in San Jose. If you click on this pic you can see a couple others. Thanks Gay G.
I don't have much wind in my sails after a tough week of training. I've still got the energy to go cruise around the park, mostly in the woods up behind the pavillion.
Jen and I went down to the new Mexican Place in Soulard last night, Chavas, for a drink. The margaritas were average. It seemed kinda sterile to me. The menu is pretty straightforward. I guess you don't have to try to make mexican that special but it seemed a little bit bland.
I hit 1800 miles on the season last night. I have no idea what that means. I guess that's probably about 14 hrs a week avg. I do know that the avg length of my training rides has gone from about 4 hrs last season to 1.5 hrs this season. Shorter training rides and cereal, my secret to crit domination.

Delta Bravo, it seems you are straying away from the "carbon everything" trend that has taken over the industry. I can only agree... to an extent. There needs to be a balance. Carbon chainrings are over the top! Did you see Independent Fabrications is coming out with a steel 953 frame? Stainless steel!! Won't rust. I just wonder how expensive it will be? It should still be way less than titanium. On a side note, sounds like you're training a lot more than me! If I trained half as much as I played on the Internet, I might be halfway in shape?
